Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and safety- conscious School Bus Driver to join our team and ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school. As a School Bus Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for students during their daily commute. If you have a valid driver’s license, a commitment to student safety, and excellent driving skills, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our school community.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate a school bus following established routes and schedules.
Ensure the safety of students during boarding, travel, and disembarking.
Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times.
Conduct pre- trip and post- trip inspections to ensure bus safety.
Maintain a clean and well- organized bus interior.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Report any incidents, accidents, or issues to the appropriate authorities.
Follow emergency procedures and protocols when necessary.
Collaborate with school administrators and transportation coordinators.

Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Previous experience as a school bus driver or commercial driver is preferred.
Excellent driving skills and familiarity with local routes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain discipline and ensure student safety.
Physical ability to assist students with boarding and exiting the bus.
Completion of a background check and drug screening.
High school diploma or equivalent.
